Cable

Ahh...the nineties. I really don't know what made me want to draw this guy, but it first started off as a random doodle sketch which became a weekend project. I mean, who doesn't like to draw big guns and guys that kick ass? I was going to go the route of Liefeld with more pouches, but I thought it might end up being too much on the sattirical side.
This was drawn on a manga page, which is smaller than the standard comic size page, and I really like the smoothness of the board on it. I also used a combination of pencil and mechanical and lead, from 2H to HB, with Cable being good ol' pencils and the bodies mechanical.

Maybe I'll ink, but I already have an idea of who I want to do next.
The main man sounds like fun, huh?

Character Sketch

Having alot of fun playing Heavenly Sword for the PS3, and one of things that I always enjoy from these games are the unlockable contents particularly, the art galleries.
That Alessandro Taini (Talexi) cat sure can draw some great characters.

This was my inspiration for this sketch. No-ho-where near his level but maybe I'll try to paint her anyhoo--might be fun.

Scarlett

Been talking lately about G.I. joe figures with a friend of mine and it seems that we both have a thing for the scarlett character so, I figured why not a sketch. Didn't take too long to draw this, but it's not quite where I want it just yet.

Until then, I'll keep practicing.

Mary Fairy...?

....I got nothing.

I think this was one of the first sketches that I did in my new sketchbook. Came out okay, I guess.
I was pretty amped after going to SDCC this year and seeing all that great art. I'm a huge fan of Bawidamann and good girl art, so this was the result of that. I know it doesn't really have that feel to(does it?) it but I love the spirit, personality and flirty-ness of those portraits.

Bank Heist

Watch a film called Breaking News directed by Johnnie To. Great crime flick with some wicked gun fights....which was the inspiration for this.
And the bank robbing scene in GTAIV probably attributed to this too :)

Zombie Chef sketch

So I bought a new sketchbook recently. Now lately, most of my sketching or drawing has been mainly on either sticky notes or blank paper but I thought I'd go back and see if I can actually finish a sketchbook from beginning to end.
So far I've been pretty productive in it and this little guy is one of the drawings in there.
Hope you guys enjoy it :)

R.I.P Bernie Mac, I will miss your humor :(
